In France, the National Federation and its 95 departmental offices (over 600 persons all together) work for the owners and customers .

• 43 000 owners, 56 000 accomodations, 35 million holiday days, make a 450 millions euros turnover and provide local communities with 750 millions euros (of which 20% from international customers). This also means 230 millions euros used to restore our region heritage.

• 43 800 rural gites, 2 500 new ones each year, with an average investment of 58 400 euros.

• 10 000 guest houses (beds and breakfast), 500 new ones each year (that is to say 1 500 bedrooms), with an average investment of 42 000 euros.
